KATE MODULAR LOUNGE SPECIFICATIONS

 Kate Lounges can be upholstered in choice of fabric, vinyl, crypton, leather or Customers Own Material. Upholstery: Seat foam is bonded to all sides of hardwood frame. Seat cushions are 5" graded, high resiliency block foam covered entirely with special bonded polyester fiber to protect final upholstery. ERG uses only waterbase glues and adhesives in all our upholstery process.

Frame assembly is constructed of multi-ply hardwood, with tonue and groove construction. No sag-springs are installed in seat & back along with interlocking helicoil springs to prevent sagging and provide additional lower back and seat support.Each modular unit consists of two individual components bolted together. Optional Plinth Base replaces upholstery bottom with laminate instead of fabric. ERG offers over 1000 standard laminate choices. Modular units and benches come with factory installed, 2” black nylon glides.

Kate is an ideal choice for its unlimited configurations and ease of re-configuration. Kate utilizes five main modular units - corner module, 20" straight module, 30° inside module, and 30° outside modules which allow for inward and outward curves plus end modules to achieve a variety of room configurations. Also available with optional replaceable slip covers attached with Velcro® which can be changed on site.
• Base design is slanted in on the front to improve heel position when sitting.
• Back of frame is vertical so that no space is wasted when modules are positioned against walls and back to back configurations can fit tightly together conserving floor space.
• Lounge Width: most of our lounges are 22 or 24 inches wide, the width of Kate modules is only 20" so that more seating can be accomodated in any configuration.
